For me, it was mostly a time of isolation and boredom. NYC got hit\n  hard early and we basically just all stayed inside for 5 months. Lucky for me, I'm never more prolific than when I'm\n  bored out of my skull. That's how this album came to be. After weeks of just plugging away making beats, I realized I\n  needed to both change up my patterns and also create some human interactions. So, for about 3 months, I would go on\n  Instagram live once or twice a week and make a beat for whoever wanted to watch. Not only was this a way to be\n  interactive with all the similarly locked down people, but it was also a way to challenge myself. I had to make a\n  beat, entirely from scratch, in a one hour time frame (IG live only allows you to stream for an hour at a time).
