For this project I recorded ten of my original compositions - eight new ones, and fresh versions of two previously recorded. I'm extremely proud of The Understated and look forward to it's release. I love creating music with these musicians and feel a special connection within this group.About Ben: There is no doubt that after decades as one of the most sought-after bassists in jazz, performing with top names such as Wynton Marsalis, Harry Connick Jr., Diana Krall and many others, award-winning composer and bandleader Ben Wolfe is clear about his creative direction.
